Frequently asked questions

Sizing details

Each sling varies in length, sizes are posted in each listing description.

For reference, I'm 5'7" and a size 10/12. Depending on your body type, the placement of the applique will vary.

If you need a longer or shorter tail, don't hesitate to contact me! It's very easy for me to alter a current sling or create a custom order.

Care instructions

Every sling comes to your door pre-washed & ready to wear.

It's pre-softened linen as well, so just wearing it often will soften it up even more.

I recommend spot cleaning whenever possible, and only washing when there's a diaper situation or stain hazard. This elongates the life of your sling.

That said, when you do need to wash your sling, keep in mind linen has a tendency to wrinkle. So be sure to switch from the washer (cold with a low spin cycle) and remove from dryer right away. That'll save you time ironing.

If/when you iron it, use medium heat and steam or a spray bottle.

How do I use a ring sling? Any tips or safety info I should know?

This video helped me a lot with threading and tightening :

The most important things are:

-Your baby is high enough that you can kiss his forehead easily.

-Baby is in upright position, chin off his chest.

-There's a deep "seat." Meaning there's at least 3 inches of fabric between you and baby spreading from knee to knee.

-Baby's legs are in "m" position, meaning knees are higher than bum and legs are spread apart. Think of sitting on a bench vs a hammock.

-Spread fabric over your shoulder instead of it bunching at your neck. It distributes weight more evenly and saves you from back pain.

Gift wrapping and packaging

Every sling comes gift wrapped already, just let me know if you'd like a note added to the package.
